Review

What a great read, I thoroughly enjoyed ‘Darling Jake’s exploits, turned out to be quite a gay romp with a few dramatic surprises. I’d recommend it to anyone.

About the Author.

Keith wrote his first novel ‘Jake’ when he was 71, (35 really, ha ha) years old and has written two more novels since then, namely this book ‘Darling Jake’ and a murder thriller titled ‘Murder Is An Art Form’ which is as yet unpublished.

He would say to anyone thinking of taking up writing, it’s never too late to start.

Keith Bond was born in Warwickshire and over his career has lived in London and Brighton. He now lives in Hampshire with his partner, John, where he enjoys writing, photography, graphic design and cooking. Darling Jake is his third book.

I know it’s a bit of a cliche but I simply couldn’t put ‘Darling Jake’ down. A well written book, hilarious in places as well as being interesting and suspenseful. Well worth reading in my opinion.

I’m a straight guy, I bought this out of curiosity because I enjoy watching drag acts. I didn’t think I’d enjoy it but was totally surprised, I did. Keith Bond is a great storyteller.

I say this continual smoking must have been one cause, at least, of his peculiar disposition for every one. Whether ashore or afloat, is terribly infected with the nameless misteries.
